Terms of Use

Last updated: 17 August 2026

These terms describe the agreement between you and us when you use reperto. By installing and using the app, you accept them. How your data is handled is a separate matter, explained in our Privacy Policy — in short: we collect none of your personal data.

1. Licence

We grant you a non-transferable right to use reperto on your own devices for your personal or professional music work. Selling, renting, redistributing or reverse-engineering the app falls outside that right.

The terms of the store you obtained the app from (App Store or Google Play) also apply; where they conflict with these terms, the store's terms take precedence.

2. User content and copyright

reperto does not supply any lyrics, chords or sheet music. There is no built-in song catalogue; everything in your library is created, typed or imported by you.

Two features bring content into the app, and both are under your control:

Accordingly, you are responsible for the content you enter, import and pass on to others. It is up to you not to reproduce, distribute or publicly share copyrighted work you have no right to, and to comply with the copyright law of your country.

The few sample songs shipped with the app are our own and exist only to demonstrate it; you can delete them from Settings with a single tap.

3. Stage sync

Stage mode connects devices directly over the same local network (Wi-Fi) or Bluetooth; the traffic never reaches the internet and never passes through our servers. The connection is protected by a 4-digit stage code, but it remains a local-network feature in which devices on the same network can see one another — bear that in mind on public networks.

We cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation during a live performance: Bluetooth range, network congestion, operating-system background limits and battery-saving settings can all affect synchronisation. We recommend testing your setup before you go on stage.

4. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

reperto is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will run uninterrupted or error-free, or perform identically on every device. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app.

Back up your data. Your repertoire is stored only on your own device; there is no cloud backup. If you lose the device or delete the app, the data goes with it. We recommend exporting a .reperto file from Settings and keeping it somewhere safe.

5. Purchases and refunds

In-app purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play; we neither see nor store your payment details. Refunds are governed by the relevant store's refund policy — we operate no separate refund process, so refund requests must go to the store.

6. Changes

If these terms change, we will publish the current version on this page and update the date above. Continuing to use the app means you accept the current terms.
