reperto is a serverless, local-first application. This page explains how the app handles your data — the short version: we collect no personal data at all.
Data collection
reperto has no accounts, memberships or cloud sync. The app sends no personal data to us or to third parties, and it contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.
Where your data lives
Your songs, setlists, annotations and settings are stored only in a local database on your own device. Deleting the app deletes this data. To back up or share, you can export your repertoire as a .reperto file — who you share that file with is entirely under your control.
Permissions and why they are used
- Bluetooth: for stage synchronization and MIDI device connections. Data travels only locally between the devices on your stage.
- Local network (Wi-Fi): for the Wi-Fi transport of stage sync; communication happens only between devices on the same local network and never reaches the internet.
- Microphone: only for the tuner feature; audio is never recorded and never leaves the device.
- File access: for importing/exporting songs (ChordPro, OnSong, PDF, .reperto), limited to files you pick.
Stage synchronization
In stage mode, only session information such as the song, key and scroll position travels between devices. This communication is local (Bluetooth or the local Wi-Fi network), never crosses the internet, and is protected by a 4-digit stage code.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will publish the current version on this page. As long as reperto stays local-first, the core principle will not change: your data stays on your device.
