OnSong alternatives for Android
Short answer: there is no Android version of OnSong. The app ships only on Apple platforms — iPhone, iPad and Apple Silicon Macs. Nothing called OnSong is published on Google Play, so there is no official way to run it on an Android phone or tablet.
Below is a measurable comparison of the songbook apps that do the same job on Android: platform, pricing model, cloud dependency, live multi-device sync and the file formats they read. Every value was read off the store pages, so you can check it yourself.

Values were read from the store pages on 2026-09-15. Reperto shipped in September 2026 and does not yet have a comparable number of ratings — rather than leave the cell blank, we say so. The other figures are the current values shown on the store pages.
What sets Reperto apart
They all keep songs, transpose them and show PDFs. The differences are here — and the decisive column above is “cloud sync”:
- Stage sync works with no internet at all: the leader changes the song and every screen in the band follows — over the local Wi-Fi network or straight over Bluetooth, never through a server. No hunting for signal in a wedding hall or a basement.
- No account, no cloud. The answer to “whose server holds my songs” is: nobody's. A backup is a single file and you decide where it goes.
- No ads, no analytics, no crash reporting — the app sends nothing at all.
- The paid tier only lifts the 30-song limit. Metronome, tuner, MIDI, PDF, annotation and stage sync are fully open in the free version, and there is no subscription.
- Chords are shown per instrument: a bass player sees root notes, a guitarist the full chord, and the diagram sets are correct for ukulele, mandolin and banjo separately.
What Reperto does not have
- No cloud sync. If you want two devices kept in step automatically, that is a gap — moving between them is file-based.
- No desktop build yet (macOS and Windows are on the roadmap). Today it is iOS and Android only.
- No piano chord diagrams; the diagrams are for stringed instruments.
- No built-in song library, and there never will be: the app does not distribute copyrighted lyrics or chords — you build your own library.
Moving your songs across
You can hand Reperto the backup you exported from your old app: ChordPro, OnSong, tab/crd, plain text and PDF files as well as foldered archives are read, and the format is recognised from the content rather than the file name. Step by step:
